Update November 2025 : I have now aborted the Meshtastic & Meshcore projects due to issues I had using the mesh in my location. I did give Meshcore a go too, but found the same issues – mainly around just seeing test messages and no actual activity.
Details of my experimentation with the Meshtastic & Meshcore messaging networks will appear here soon. My 868Mhz devices have arrived from China, I just need to purchase and setup and external antenna.
Initial setup shows there are 3 of us locally using the system on the 433Mhz band. No one on 868Mhz yet, but this could be because I don’t have an external antenna up.
